Originally from Denmark,
Michael graduated from studies in Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine in Sydney in 1986.
Michael has worked in private practice as a
herbalist, and since 1997, has worked as a technical consultant to the herbal
medicine industry specialising in technical writing and product development. He
has frequently lectured in Australia
and overseas. Michael has written extensively on various topical areas in herbal
therapeutics both for the general public and practitioners.
In 2007 he obtained his MSc conducting a
clinical trial into the efficacy of a traditional herbal formulation.
Michael is author of the immensely popular Phytotherapy
Desk Reference now in its third edition.
